Job Description:

We are currently seeking a driven Inside Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent communication skills, and have a proven track record in sales. Responsibilities:

  • Foster relationships with current and prospective customers to promote and secure orders.
  • Maintain consistent communication with Flooring Retail Stores to identify opportunities and offer solutions.
  • Collaborate with distributors to introduce new products to the Flooring Market.
  • Proactively prospect and engage potential clients, ensuring thorough follow-up.
  • Strategically oversee existing business operations and implement sales strategies for new product launches.
  • Close sales transactions while adhering to company policies.
  • Generate growth opportunities through cold calling and referrals.
  • Prepare and deliver sales reports to management.
  • Participate in trade shows and industry conventions.
  • Manage sales inquiries via phone and email.
  • Create quotations for both current and prospective customers.
  • Conduct research to identify and cultivate prospective customers.

Desired Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Post-secondary education required.
  • 1-3 years of relevant sales experience in the flooring industry preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, result-oriented environment.
  • Excellent planning, organization, and follow-through abilities.
  • Goal-oriented, self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Proven track record in prospecting, cold calling, and closing sales.

Full job description

  • Educate and promote customers about Epico Forest Products and Services.
  • Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential customers.
  • Converting sales leads to complete sales transactions.
  • Actively seek out new customers and business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and assess their needs.
  • Achieve individual sales targets to support overall department and organizational goals.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Inform existing and potential customers about special offers.
  • Resolves customer complaints in a timely and professional manner by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
  • Manage and post on social media platforms to generate leads and interest in customers. Be able to use and navigate Facebook marketplace, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Tik Tok and any other social media platform promoting sales.
  • Develop new business relationships by following up with regular proactive contact.
  • Devote time in understanding competitor market trend and product price variance, provide analysis report to management for any changes as recommended.
  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information to the customers by using the right methods/tools.
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
  • Ensuring the requirements of each project are successfully executed by the installation team.
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication.
  • Clean and Organize store. Lift heavy boxes to ensure proper organization of the store.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual analyses.
  • Complete all other duties as assigned by the Sales Store Manager.
  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
  • Communicating with customers through various channels phone, email, chat and social media.
  • Maintain customer relationship and prospects for future clients in means of follow-ups.
  • Overall have the drive to grow within the sales field through excellent customer service and have the passion to learn and earn.

Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of sales experience within the flooring industry is highly preferred.
  • Experience working in a sales-driven environment.
  • A willingness to grow and advance career in sales.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • A genuine passion for helping customers and store representatives.
  • The ability to genuinely listen to customers, formulating a personalized response to their needs.
  • The curiosity to understand how things work with the intention of improving service.
  • Recognize the importance of excellent professional communication in the workplace.
  • Flexibility to work in a diverse culture.
  • A knack for problem-solving with keen attention to detail.
  • The ability to Comfortably navigate hurdles using critical thinking and good judgement.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems or equivalent.
  • Required to work on schedule as determined by sales, customer, and business needs.
  • Open to work on the weekends.

Job Role Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls from customers regarding orders, inquiries, and concerns related to flooring products.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer needs promptly and professionally.
  • Process orders accurately and efficiently using the company’s order management system.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of customer interactions, orders, and inquiries.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless order processing and fulfillment.
  • Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to management, detailing key metrics such as sales volume, customer inquiries, and order status.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the warehouse team to ensure the timely fulfillment of orders.
  • Continuously strive to meet or exceed sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge, pricing, promotions, and company policies to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support the sales and customer service functions.
